I graduated in 1987 from Carl Junction High School and attended Missouri Southern State College (University) finishing there in 1989. I made the choice to spend the next several years staying at home with my children. After my youngest child started school in 2002, I decided to go back to work and have been teaching ever since. I also serve on the education committee at our church and occasionally substitute in Sunday School.

My husband, Jeff, and I live in Carl Junction with our family. We have 3 children, their names are Katie,  Courtney, Cole and our nephew Jacob also lives with us.

I absolutely love teaching and believe that EVERY child should have a loving and nurturing environment in which to learn. I strive to create a place that gives children the opportunity to learn through hands on experiences and positive interactions.
